1. Introduction
BTI360 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have with respect to your information when you use our Service (the “BTI360 Challenge platform”).
2. Information We Collect
a. Usage Data
- When you access and use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical data, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, timestamps, and other diagnostic data.
- This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
b. Challenge Completion Data
- When you successfully solve a coding challenge, our platform records that you have completed the challenge.
- We do not collect any personal information (e.g., name, email) at this stage. Instead, once you complete a challenge, we redirect you to a third-party Google Form where you may choose to provide personal or contact details. Because that Google Form is operated by Google (or another third-party service), any information you submit there is handled under the privacy practices of that third party, not ours.
c. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to understand how you interact with our platform (e.g., which challenges you view) and to improve performance (e.g., remembering language settings).
- See Section 7 for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for purposes such as:
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the platform (e.g., debugging, tracking challenge completion rates, optimizing page load times).
- Analyzing usage patterns (e.g., which challenges are most popular, how users navigate the site) to enhance features and functionality.
- Enforcing our Terms of Service and other policies to ensure a fair and secure experience.
- Communicating with you if you voluntarily submit your email address on our Site (e.g., for newsletters, updates). Note that any email you submit directly on our platform is at your discretion; otherwise, personal data collection happens only via the external Google Form.
4. Information Collected via Third-Party Google Forms
- If you choose to provide personal information on the Google Form we serve after solving a challenge, that information is not collected by BTI360 but by Google (or the designated form host).
- We do not control or directly receive the data you submit on that form, although we may receive notification that you have submitted it.
- You should review the privacy policy of the third-party form provider (e.g., Google’s Privacy Policy) to understand how your data is processed, stored, and shared.
5. Sharing Your Information
We may share information we directly collect as follows:
- Service Providers: We work with third-party vendors (e.g., hosting providers, analytics services, email-delivery services) to help us operate and maintain the platform. These vendors receive only the data necessary to perform their functions (e.g., aggregated usage metrics, diagnostic logs).
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., subpoena), we may disclose your information.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we may transfer usage data to the acquiring entity. If such a transfer occurs, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website.
- With Your Consent: We will share information only with your explicit permission.
Note: Any personal information you voluntarily provide on the external Google Form is subject to that third party’s privacy policy; BTI360 does not share or sell any form-collected data.
6. Your Choices
a. Access and Correction
- Since we do not maintain a user account registry on our platform, you cannot directly update or delete personal details via the site.
- If you have previously provided your email address or other information (e.g., by signing up for updates on our site or via the Google Form), please contact us at info@bti360.com to request access or correction.
b. Marketing Communications
- If you have voluntarily given us your email address (whether on our platform or via the Google Form), you can opt out of promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email you receive or by reaching out to info@bti360.com.
c. Cookies
- Most browsers allow you to refuse or block cookies. However, disabling cookies may prevent certain features (e.g., remembering your preferred challenge difficulty) from functioning properly.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to track usage, remember preferences, and personalize your experience.
- These tools help us measure traffic, analyze how users interact with challenges, and detect potential issues.
- You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may limit certain functionality.
8. Data Security
- We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect any data we collect (such as usage logs).
- However, no security measure is entirely foolproof. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
9. Children’s Privacy
- Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13.
- We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information (e.g., if a minor completes a Google Form), we will promptly delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
a. External Google Forms
- After completing a challenge, you may be redirected to a third-party Google Form to submit your personal information. That form is not part of our platform, and BTI360 is not responsible for its content or privacy practices.
- Please review the form provider’s privacy policy before submitting any personal data.
b. Other Third-Party Links
- Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., documentation, external resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
- We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
11. International Data Transfers
- If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that any data we collect (e.g., usage logs) may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
- Any personal data you provide on the external Google Form will be processed in accordance with the form provider’s policies, which may also involve transfers across borders.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
- We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.
- If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to any address you have voluntarily provided (e.g., via our site or the Google Form).
- The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
13. Contact Us
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our practices, please contact us at info@bti360.com.
